Latest Update!

Dear All, Behold, I have great news! The latest update for folks wishing to come to Montserrat is that our borders will be open to all fully vaccinated visitors, as of Oct. 1, 2021! There will be a five-day quarantine period, but Gingerbread Hill is an approved quarantine lodging, so no worries there. During your first four days, I will do grocery shopping for you and pick up anything you might order from a restaurant, etc…if they do not deliver. On your fourth day here, a member of the local health team will come and administer the covid test and if it proves negative, you will be free to move about the island at will on your fifth day here. We are all very keen to keep covid out of Montserrat but also to get the economy back up and running again! To date, we’ve participated in three covid-related health and safety workshops for guest lodgings and will take part in yet another one this week, provided by CHTA. David and I, along with Sun and Kristina from Montserrat Island Tours are soooo excited to be able to be open again for our guests! Gingerbread Hill has a fresh coat of paint and a promising future. Yay! Now all we need is YOU! We look forward to seeing your face in the place. Grateful we are.

March late afternoon colours!
